The Simple Leaf Chlöe

Description (from thesimpleleaf.com): If you thought all good green teas were from China, think again. Chlöe sets a new standard in quality and taste for green tea. Chlöe has exquisite and stylish dark green and brown leaves that yield a bright green and aromatic liquor. The tea goes down very smooth and leaves your mouth feeling utterly refreshed. We think Chlöe has some natural hints of floral and fruity tastes and a fresh and brisk flavor. When infused, the liquor takes on a beautiful green tinge. [more...]

Review
: This tea is delicious. It's refreshing and pure, with a bit of a smoky but sweet darjeeling flavor. It is very brisk, and the leaves are absolutely beautiful. It's gentle but refreshing. These Simple Leaf teas continue to impress me and it's very refreshing to be able to drink something that is not flavored or modified and be reminded that pure, untampered-with tea is still plentiful.

I actually am not a huge fan of green tea in general, and I think this tea is a great choice for anyone who wants a reality check: with all the flavored teas in the world, it's important to remember (and embrace) pure, delicious varieties like this one. I'm usually disappointed by darjeeling because it has limited flavor, but this is a perfect blend -- it's refreshing, brisk, sweet and a bit grassy. A must have!

The Good: delicious flavor, very pure
The Bad: none!
